ABOUT THIS ROBERT JOHNSON GUITAR
The legend goes that Robert Johnson did not know how to play guitar but he went traveling one day and he encountered the devil at the crossroads of highway 49 and highway 61.
He then sold his soul to the devil for the ability to play guitar and after that day, Robert Johnson could play guitar like nobody else before or after.
There are only one or two photos of Robert Johnson and a piece of paper he had in his desk found after his death ( he was murdered by a jealous husband at a very young age).
The carving of Robert Johnson on the back of this guitar is his likeness based on one of the surviving photographs.
Our Blueberry customer put all of this into his idea for a Robert Johnson guitar – you can see the Devil at the crossroads on the headstock and the highway markers #49 and #61 on the fretboard and a replica of the piece of paper found in his desk.
The bridge on this guitar is the same as on Robert Johnson’s actual guitar
